Tapedeck.orgI built tapedeck.org to showcase the amazing beauty and (sometimes) weirdness found in the designs of the common audio tape cassette. There's an amazing range of designs, starting from the early 60's functional cassette designs, moving through the colourful playfulness of the 70's audio tapes to amazing shape variations during the 80's and 90's. Enjoy! |

Graffiti artthe weather has been too cold for my taste, so nothing much has happened, i have to admit. but there's a lot i have planned for when it gets warmer. in the meantime, here's an oldie but goodie: slash yellow, kaiserswerth, 2005. there's a time-lapse making-of as well (requires quicktime 7) all walls are in the walls section, and all the canvases are here. i made an extra category for all canvases currently for sale. |
Graphic designhere are a few new things besides tapedeck.org, which has taken most of my time in the last few weeks: music for grown-ups: cd-cover for a compilation for my niece's 18th birthday back to the eighties: cd cover for ate1 flyer ultimate oldschool funk #14 these and more recent graphics are here. |

Graffiti booksfrom classics to modern styles: here are a few graffiti and design books that i consider essential to the craft. a good read, some of them hard to find. enjoy! |
Aboutneckcns.com is the online portfolio of graphic designer (by day) and graffiti artist (by... uh... also by day, actually) Neck of the CNSkillz crew from Germany. I started out painting pretty classic graffiti styles back in 1989, honed my skills on the then emerging 3dimensional letters, studied communicational design as a consequence and ended up being a fulltime designer. The result? My graffiti art looks like done by a designer, and my designs definitely still have that graffiti feeling to them. Take a look around, enjoy your stay. |
